West Fork biologists are trained to identify activity of Mazama pocket gophers in Thurston and Pierce counties. Our staff can help you determine steps needed to meet permitting requirements. The survey season begins June 1, and we are currently assisting landowners evaluate the risk that pocket gophers are present on a parcel before they purchase.
