West Fork contracted with the Washington Department of Natural Resources (WADNR) to conduct inventory cruises on WADNR lands in Western Washington. This partnership compared ground truth data to remote sensing data to inform Washington State Forest Practices about data collection methods. Our staff recorded metrics consisting of tree height, diameter, defects, age, and downed woody material.
